the Devo/Jam/exploited & Dead Kennedys pins- I had the same ones bought in the USA. I wonder if they imported them? The DK ones were a little unique....maybe somebody was buying them in bulk from the UK then bringing them back here...

Love the Matchbox cars you found! Great prices. There are repro boxes available if you want them, I buy mine from a guy in the UK.

Yeah, its often hard to figure out the origin or manufacturer of badges like those. When its a product promotion or a TV show / Movie related subject its much easier to figure out the age and maker. Band badges seem to get made and re-made by a myriad number of manufacturers . . . .


I'm not too bothered about that, i buy these for the nostalgia factor and because i can pick them up for a few pence (and i did'nt care about the boxes when i was a kid). I do appreciate them though, i bought my dad a book on Dinky toys the other day and the photos in the book are great . . . all the cars are displayed on top of their original boxes and they do look really cool. Especially the larger pre-war display boxes for the sets.

Who are the Bash street kids?

^^ If you are a British school kid into comics from now back to the 50's you cannot avoid them!
They are from the 'Beano' and were created by Leo Baxendale who is one of the godfathers of British comics.
'Plug' is probably the most famous character (the one with the funny ears) . . . . I still have a few old annuals of theirs somewhere.
