Minimal experimental, electro-acoustic, and free-improve music... not most toy collectors tunes of choice! I send out one free disk with a toy purchase and the guy wrote back saying "how is 45min of feedback Jazz?" he seemed really mad about it.. kinda funny

well y'all, i gots my new job running Rough Trade east in Brick Lane, London.\
300 capacity venue
record store
coffee shop
snug/study area
I am stoked this is not only one of the best labels to come from the UK but one of the most highly regarded stores in the country.
I get to go in and help set up, sort the building works and see the store unfold !
I am happy

Cool stuff. I love raster-noton stuff. Is there any way I can hear some of the 1.8sec records sounds?
At the moment I am a full time dad and toy maker (I also make other kinds of art)

Hey, I like your site. Nice glitchy design.
There is a bit of cross-over from Raster-Noton to my label, Richard Chartier, Taylor Deupree and Kim Cascone have all had releases on both. I carry some of the Raster titles in my shop...
Here are a few full trax that are more field recording/ambient off of my label:
Artist: Dawid Szczesny
Title: Snow Beetroot / Stapes I-III
http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=D44D9C10372EFC18
Artist: GoGooo
Title: Le garçon qui brille
http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=96BDE1C946EE372F
And here is a link to var mp3 excerpts of the other stuff on the label. A number of the releases are long slowly evolving trax, so there are chunks that show different stages of the track.

Again, not for everyone but I hope you enjoy them.

Graphic design, for a university. I make stuff that asks for money, and we get it. Lots of it.

So myself included, that makes at least 7 or 8 graphic designers on this board (who have posted saying so, anyway). That's pretty crazy.

Then I'm you arch enemy, I manage a print shop.
Mainly high end designer nightmare stuff & corporate stationary.

Not necessarily a 'print shop' but pretty close. I don't think I could ever work at an actual print shop. There's enough 'customer hell' having to do graphic design for clients.

I teach 8th graders, which means I am highly qualified to work as a corrections officer at any prison facility.

I've never thought of print shops as my enemy...
Then again, most of them cozy up to any designer at this University, since we are able to give so much damn business.
I did a press check last week, and walked out of there with a ton of swag, including an ipod nano, sure it has the print house's logo on it, but, it's a free ipod!
