Those pigs look cool, but something about splicing jellyfish and pig DNA just seems kind of messed up.
Next step pig and elephant mixes.

this was my favorite part of Planet Earth...and also the most frightening.

nature can fight back hard...who knows what could happen to us down the line.

no matter what it's fascinating. this thread is great...

**SPOILER ALERT - THE HAPPENING**

Wasn't that the whole premise of The Happening? At the time, I thought this was the dumbest premise (and a horrible movie to boot). But after seeing that youtube clip, it make you wonder. ;)

I think it was less fungal spores, and more airborne neural chemicals, but yeah I think you got the right idea.

The Tardigrade, or "Water Bear". The only Earth creature known to be able to survive the vacuum and cold of space. Makes me wish I had a microscope.

Weird sharks...

The rare Megamouth Shark! It's a treat to see them in a real live video. They look downright prehistorical! :P

*Don't worry, the diver only risks getting gummed!

And, the really weird looking Goblin Shark (yes, we've seen his photo before, but it's nice to see them do their thing in a video :) )

oh, and other weird stuff in the deep blue sea

That... was absolutely terrifying. I never heard a frog "scream" before.

On a side note, that is one fat frog.

^^^Actually, I found it to be cute  :) . A lot of frogs and toads will "scream" when picked up/touched by other animals (including humans). They don't have a whole lot of options in terms of defending themselves (unless you are talking about poisonous toads and frogs), so their scream is to try to scare off predators... poor froggie (and yes, he's very fattie! :P )
