Count, you've gotta see Hausu aka House. It's totally insane in the best ways. That one's already out on Eureka! and Criterion will release it later this year. BASK peeps ... it's playing at SF's Castro Theater next week, Saturday the 17th. Great Japanese cheeseball psychedelic horror weirdness.

Now THAT looks good! :D everything else on here sounds great too. Thanks for all the great suggestions.

I just watched a great Roger Corman flick called "Suburbia"

Exactly how I remember my childhood.

Other faves include:
Gummo- superb redneck exploration
Starship Troopers- still ahead of it's time
The Hudsucker Proxy- fuck "The Office"
anything by Russ Meyer

I have to say I really like the new Creature skateboard video, gimmick or not the Deer Man of Dark Woods part exclusively skating the fuck out of Jersey Barriers is worth the price of admission alone.

You might enjoy "Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things". It's a mid-seventies zombie cheapie from the guy who went on to make "Christmas Story". It's a really effective old school creep fest that sits nicely next to Romero.

Yeah Bob Clark! I love that one.

He also did Black Christmas and Porkys, the man was a genius.
