Who is going to step up and eat one or two of these and report on their findings?

Re: Behold, the KFC Double Down Sandwich
actually...I literally just finished eating one...and one is all you need. It's just ok. Typical KFC. If it was just a regular sandwich with one piece of chicken, it might be better. I had to get a side of gravy to go with it cause I had a fear that it might be way too dry. So yeah...I had the DD meal, side of fries and a drink...and my boss had an extra Apple Turnover. Thank god for that turnover oh...did I mention I had a pack of Ho-hos an hour before eating this?

Apparently these are doing quite well out of the gate according to my inside man at YUM foods. He also informed me that it has less calories than a Big Mac. I can't wait to try one.

The caloric count isn't horrendous but the sodium level is off the chart.

Maybe I will promptly remedy this situation tonight.

Re: Behold, the KFC Double Down Sandwich
True story:
I was in the kitchen and my daughter started yelling "Oh my God, that is so gross!" I thought she was seeing something really gross on television and she said "There's this sandwich in between two pieces of chicken".
I thought this was pretty funny and thought I'd share!

Okay, she didn't really say Oh my Godzilla, but that sure would have been cool.

ok Bert, that looks pretty damn good even with your shitty picture. I like the idea of dumping it into gravy too so you can get that redneck au jus thing going on.

Re: Behold, the KFC Double Down Sandwich
It hit Monday skylar (it was actually at test locations for around a year I think.) Saturday is my big day to get one. 2 friends beat me to it promptly on Monday. So I gotta eat like 2 or 3 to catch up.

Re: Behold, the KFC Double Down Sandwich
my co-worker had the bright idea of taking it apart so you're eating one piece of chicken at a time. I think that will help a lot cause when you think about it, you're really just eating 2 1/2 pieces of chicken...which isn't that much for some people.

what i really think would have pushed this over the top is if they put a piece of bread in between the two chicken patties..
