Basically, you should hardly ever use gift on payments over $100 (unless it is someone very trustworthy, like Carl, Mark, Kirkland, etc.)

If you are buying from someone, maybe check how active they are on the forums. If they contribute a lot, they are probably trustworthy. Make an educated decision but really the paypal fee isn't all that much and it (theoretically) guarantees safety for both sides

I couldn't agree more. Seriously fuck the guy that sent the rocks. His track record is horrible. Take him down! This is just going to happen to someone else in a few months.

It takes a little effort to get in here, why work at a scam, when the KR board is ripe and open for the pickings... That said, if anyone won't let you pay an extra 5 dollars, to send it as a buyers payment, than somethings sketchy...

I think having a good reputation here is worth way more, than you could ever get from scamming a quick toy... If someone is here everyday, it's part of their life, and most people don't want to risk getting kicked off the board, so they play fair.
