Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
I use the same MVC3 button configuration as Baroncasino when I can sneak in a game or two between coding sessions on some new sourcecode I'm writing- which has been all day and night lately. I do like the new special/launcher button though, especially during air combos where you do the ground bounce into OTG moves.

This is what I plan to try next. Some day this week I'll quit playing RE5 and pop MvC3 back in. g_money wrote: Apparently the arcade stick I bought online got in yesterday but my wife didn't tell me. The change to stick really F'd my friend's overall performance since he was so used to controllers (it's backwards for me). I've noticed that the team air combo is a lot more common in controller users - I can barely ever get it to work the way I want to on my TE-S but I blame myself for just sucking at air combos.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
I haven't played bioshock yet, I really want toget 2.
I was playing star wars battlefront the other day and thinking ab how badass a new one would be with the graphics and online play somuch more common now. I hope they do that. I was reading ab rumors and development changing hands a few times and how it may never come to be. What an awesome game to throw away.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
been playing with fightpad with config L H P1 M S P2 a little more like the old mvc2 setup actually played today online for the first time. and i really need to try out the lag setting in training, i couldn't really complete any combo. i'm trying to kill time until shuma gorath is out so i can finish out my team. Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
I've decided the arcade stick isn't for me. But a fight pad controller prob would work best. Anyone want a hori real arcade pro 3 stick? Essentially brand new minus a few hours played. Id even be down for vinyl in return. Pm me if anything.
Back to the topic though. Picked up enslaved and MLB the show 11 the other day. I sucked with analog control for batting so went back to the buttons.

HRAP3 is nice - it's what I'd originally decided on purchasing until I just came across such a good deal on the TE-S model. I'd say changing from pad to stick will take 1-2 weeks of transition before you're back on top of your game - but arcade sticks definitely aren't for everyone. Are you using a standard PS3 controller instead? Only thing I could go with besides the full arcade stick is the Madcatz SFIV Fightpad or Hori Fighting Commander 3.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
So... anybody using Jill or Shuma Gorath yet? A friend of mine got them and I must say that Jill performs much better than her RE2 version featured in MvC2. Jill being a crazy, fast, evil powerhouse controlled by Wesker (a la RE5) makes for much better fighting game material IMO.
Shuma Gorath is no slack, either - I had no complaints seeing the new & improved Shuma kick my ass. I've still yet to purchase either of these, because I cringe at the thought of spending $5/ea on new characters - but Jill is going to be a must for me, and I'll probably cave for Shuma as well.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
i was messing around with jill doing missions and what not, do her lv 3 combo where she's feral or something and then x factor. she is way too fast..diagonal dashing, backwards, forwards, in the air..shes nuts. im waiting to see a legit s.t.a.r.s. squad. its gonna be beastly .

I picked up a HRAP EX recently for my 360, and I definitely need some time to transition from normally playing on the Madcatz Fightpad. Definite improvement for me though. I'll never go back to using a fightpad.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
Started up my City of Heroes account again, using a time card. Just a little bored playing WoW, NHL11, GT5, Dead Space 2 and a few other games...actually, I should work on Dead Space 2 since it's pretty short.
Anyone try the Mortal Kombat demo?

Just picked up Home Front for the 360. Anyone else played it? I will try and give my review for it after tonight.

Re: Which Video Games Are You Currently Playing?
I started playing Homefront and the game is great, but it has some significant glitches. Periodic freezing and last night I lost my rank and everything I've unlocked.

I played for hours last night and forgot to enter the stupid code to be able to unlock past level 5..so I had a bunch of wasted points. I like how there is so many people on one map and there is so much going on during the battle. So far multiplayer is awesome besides the every once and a while glitches.
