Re: Your real first name? I know one board member/mod who excels at remembering real names, and uses them to address people here (as opposed to screen names.) That always impressed me as being courteous, but for my part, I generally won't address someone by their real name unless I'm pretty sure it's okay with them. To reiterate, if someone posts their real first name to this thread, I think it's fair to say that it's okay to use it publicly, although I reserve the option of switching back and forth. He seemed to make it up out of thin air after I requested that my original awkward screen name be changed to "Dean." I don't know if the rule currently applies but there's no harm in asking.
