Here are some snaps I took this afternoon with the new body
PSYCH! I just wanted to get a sense of scale but it will have the turtle body in fight figure scale. I thought I'd call this guy Zen. He's total consciousness rising out of the egoic self. Pure presence and perfect for the ninja turtle theme.

please post the finished piece when you are done.
Is the head a direct TNMT influence?
After seeing the art work, everything else is apparent.
I've never liked TNMT other than the first few issues of the comic when it was an underground thing so please forgive me if I am missing the obvious (I have never watched the cartoon at all).
what is your thing with Plexi?
now, it's all good but you really love the Plexi so I will ask WHY?
I've silkscreened before and really enjoy the process. I use to print for
Kozik and Lindsey Kuhn once upon a time in Austin, Texas...do you pull squeegy?

thanks Chad. Check the M.M. blog regularly. Lokash will have a final shot up once it's done. The head is actually an original. The TMNT influence is Mutant Massacre's influence from our colab. I loved the original b&w comic. Eastman and Laird were the shit back then. Too bad about the split.
The plexi is a medium I fooled around with at work a couple of years back. Just started painting some cut-off scraps from work and posting here. Really cool medium because of the depth effects and the smooth plastic feel. I think it's a pretty open medium right now because of all the possibilities. I'm still finding different things to do with it.
The MM X Lamour collab print was the only thing screened on plexi. It really was experimental more than anything. Lokash did the screening and I just colored the prints by hand. We thought it would make a nice companion for our shirt colab which I thought came out amazing. Thanks to everyone that bought one. Still a couple left I believe so hit up Mutant Massacre if you want one. I might have more screened on plexi but it'll probably be in small runs because the colors still need to be applied by hand. The screen paints don't look as good on plexi and scratch off easily. Thanks again and I hope this answered your questions.

dude this is soooo fucking rad! if there was only one constructive thing to saay though, it would be to try and move the top jaw and such a bit more down so that more of the face is visible from the front like your logo is. its loking so sick though!
