what lights do you guys use in the top of your detolf shelves? how do you attach them?

I believe they're made by Ikea, actually. I think they can be purchased separately, and installed via the circular hole on top of the detolf.

I was told the same thing. So I just bought some lights that are close to a flush mount and drilled a large hole in the top of the detolf. Took about 30 minutes for both installed. Easy.

I think the IKEA lights get way too hot for my liking.

Natural lighting is the way to go. That way at night you can't see your toys and when you wake up in the morning you get a nice refreshing greeting from them.

Those Ikea lites get way to hot and traditional lighting sucks bad too ! Better get out and git yerself some COOL burning LED's, they are next generation come'n atcha !!!
