That's some very fine and dynamic art, Robert!
Do you know "Heroes Club" in San Francisco? It's a Japanese toy store that doesn't carry Neo Kaiju (in fact when I asked the owner, he hadn't heard of Gargamel) but I ask because they have a 6' tall Tetsujin 'bot in the storefront window. Every time I see it I'm reminded of your current toy work.
Thanks,, Well ole Tetsujin was a big inspiration for Combat R Zero. The design was to bring back feelings/memories and the excitement of the OS superhero bots. I have a feeling Robots are gonna be poping up alot this year. There wheren't many people doing robots at the time I thought of doing Combat R. I could have gone with the Kaiju that I had fully rendered or a fight figure (also fully rendered) but there was something about Combat R that was screaming "make me!" "MAKE ME NOW!!"
That's not to say that the kaiju and my fight figure won't ever be produced tho

It's just now Robots are king!
