Post Attic finds...
I've been cleaning out my mother's attic for the last 3 months...so much stuff up there it's ridiculous. First find was a huge box with over 5 dozen 80's thrash metal t-shirts and demos. Next find was a toy box with loads of Madballs that broke apart and stuck to other toys and my fingers when I touched them. this is the latest find...a huge box with loads of 80's handheld games. These things made my world go round in grade school. Tested them all and every one works - pretty shocked actually! I know I had more titles, but no idea where they are, unless more hidden boxes await excavation.

At one point, Billy Galaxy was all over old school videos games. You might try and hit him up if you want to unload these (for Japanese toys).

Post a pick of your '80s Thrash pile you found.

Aww, you had the good Nintendo flip-out ones. I'm experiencing retroactive jealousy.

Man, memories. I remember seeing those in the stores when I was a kid.

There was definitely a collector boom for these video games in the last decade, but I think I missed it. Like Rhino and Pogue mentioned, these things muster up some serious nostalgia, it's gonna be hard to get rid of them...but a 750 sq ft apartment just doesn't hold the amount of stuff that's been piling up over the years...maybe I should just sell them all as a lot on the bay or something...

Holy shit!!! You were that kid!!! That kid in the neighborhood who had every fucking game. I was lucky if I had one electronic game and you have enough there to start your own ebay business. I HATE you!!! Well, not really, but the envy is eating my gut right now. Those are awesome!!

Some of those shirts look like the colors are dark and bright as if they were never worn. Or never washed. Ewwww, I'll go with never worn. I wish there was a stash like this at my folk's house, but that stuff was cleaned out and dumped decades ago. More, please. I will live vicariously through the photos of your excavation. :?

They were indeed great; I, too, rocked a t-shirt and some buttons back in the day.

It still tickles me that an ex-member is a 'brainer!

The Nintendo game & watches are awesome. If toys didn't take all my money I'd love to collect those.

Screw those games, all that crossover/metal stuff is killer.

Holy shit. I seriously cannot believe that people like Khanate and Ungawa remember Die K. here. Makes me feel like my childhood wasn't wasted after all

JP - if you've got all of those shirts I must have met you at some point - a couple of those we printed ourselves in motel rooms, campsites, etc - the pink one everyone hated (except for my wife) because it was too "feminine" Ha!
I tell you, it's an honor to know that you liked us, 'cause your work is seriously awesome.
