So I'm sitting here going thru skullbrain and I keep on hearing some music. I'm like "what the fuck ... damn polish white wannabes have the music up again" but checked and the Beastie Boys are playing a few blocks from my place at McCarren Pool. This use to be the worlds largest public pool before it fell apart and the bums took it over. Few years ago they started to put on free shows on the weekends and bigger bands eery now and then -- last week was Sonic Youth playing Daydream Nation from start to finish then almost another hour on top of that! Damn good show

Still...the b-boys rocking Little Poland. Who wudda thunk.

yea man, its 'a gala event' concert - focus on instraments and the spacey stuff. vocals optional.

The dress code is formal.

plus the filmore is a small venue for them. (filmore in denver that is)

I was wondering because I'm going to the Gala event at the Warfield.
I'll be interested to see what everyone's definition of "formal" is going to be in SF- perhaps a black hoodie and all-black sneakers....?
