Yea -- I've watched a couple of episodes. I've never seen it until now and I never knew it was so damn weird. It fits in pretty well with [as] stuff.

First time I'd seen it too.
I love it.
Makes me wish I'd had Astro Boy growing up.
I did have Gigantor, but he doesn't have the same heart.

The comics are very cool too. Much better than I expected from a kid's comic book, such a classic.

original Astro boy RAWKS!
I did watch him growing up (in Melbourne in the 80s). I used to make my own Astro Boy toys with modelling clay since that was the only way I could get to play with him. Now I have a modest collection of various incarnations of Astro. Back then I'd never even seen one. But then I was nowhere near Japan...

Cool! Brings back fond memories. Cartoon network used to air Gigantor too but late late at night. Not sure if it was on adult swim tho.

I've liked Astro Boy since I was 5! My cousin exposed me to it so I really liked it then and now! Pretty cool that AS is putting it on the air.
