Not a lot of gaming people here, but thought I would throw this up.

If you go to Sony Style, and sign up for their credit card, they will give you $150 back after your first purchase of $400 or more. The 60GB PS3 just got a price drop to $499, so it is all good for the deal. On top of that, free shipping, and 5 free BluRay movies. Not too bad for a little over $350.

The 60GB unit has the emotion engine, which allows you to play PS2 and PSX games, but it is being discontinued. The 80GB will only have emulation support, which really sucks, so if you are in the market for a PS3, this would be the time to go for it.

Toy buying has put a major dent in my PS3 fund. I was planning on getting one but ended up buying some toys off the boards and at S7 (it really is a curse living close to the store).

You wouldn't happen to know how long this deal is going for, do you?

Yeah, I too will not be taking advantage of this deal, as i am moving to the other side of the country in December, and it doesn't make much sense buying too much stuff right now. I am actually trying, TRYING to downsize, but all the pretty toys...
