BitTorrent brings Evil Villian back from the dead
Fantastic Four and BitTorrent together at last...

"...the character Wizard from the comics has done the unthinkable. He fired up his BitTorrent client, downloaded some sound samples and used them to clone Klaw back to life. Marvel Comics discovered this nefarious BitTorrent use and has documented it in Fantastic Four Issue #549."

Bittorrent scares me. And this is why. Well...this and the fact that it gives me nice viruses. What's better than AdAware?

Well, AdAware isn't an antivirus program, but a better anti-spyware program is CounterSpy. I use both simultaneously, and also run SpyBot once a week. None of them seem to catch everything, but using all three has been great for maintenance and clean-up for me.
If you're going to engage in BitTorrent activity, you should install PeerGuardian and something like SafePeer as well. Even if your activity is 100% legal, hundreds of entities are going to try to access your computer. Don't believe me? Install PeerGuardian and watch what happens.

i didn't believe it at first, but here it is:
http://andrewfarago.livejournal.com/16145.html
Spiderman speaking out against teen pregnancy.
In the 70s, Planned Parenthood put out a spiderman tie-in comic. Apparently, the plot is that an evil villian is trying to convince teens that they can't get pregnant the firs time they have sex...so that they will have babies...then (get this)...he can use them for child labor.
