IIRC Huck Gee did a series of his skull figures as Barney's exclusives. Still I agree that there's a broad dichotomy between KR garb and Armani.
Barney's powers-that-be no doubt knows that a lot of American wealth is now held by younger generations than in the past thank to the tech industries, so a multi-tiered approach is probably shrewd. Plus, a little street cred (cough, cough) can't hurt if they're interested in cooling-up their old guard image. No matter how much many toy-lovers here and at the KR board enjoy bashing bad KR gear, fact is that kids with cash are buying it in a big way these days.
