I can't seem to get my pic into an avatar. I've tried resizing programs but doesn't seem to help. Any suggestions?

In a totally related question, how do I use the search function? Like what would I have done to search for the above question?

1) I can help you out with your avatar, if you'd like. Upload the image you want to use somewhere and I will make it into an avatar.

2) I don't really think that question's ever been raised, but probably search for "avatar help" or something.

Are you uploading an image or linking with a URL?

Try saving someone else's avatar to your computer and uploading that to test.
Or scale your avatar to the same size and file format as the avatar that you grabbed.
Maybe you are using the wrong file format. Try GIF or JPG.
If you're linking with a URL, possibly you have a typo.

I tried clicking on the FAQ link below the banner but that led to nothing.

Search didn't turn up anything when I tried searching for avatar and help or avatar and problems so search isn't a end-all solution...

2) I tried using quotation but it didn't work. I know some forum use quotes some use plus signs. I just can't seem to figure this one out.

Yea, I've seen that. It's the red Death Phantom suit on a yellow Walder body. I would love to get my hands on it.

Hahaha, I'm seriously fiending for some more suits and stuff right now. I've been meaning to tell you, but I got my Stag Beetles last week and holy fuck. Absolute favorite toys of the moment -- They are the 'tattoo' 2-arm clear black one, the green / yellow one and the purple / silver ("Garada") one. I'm so very, very disappointed in myself for not getting the RGB ones now. Who knows if or when I'll ever see them again. Kind of a bummer but it makes the hunt that much more meaningful (I guess, heh).
