 fuck globally Saw Gogol Bordello last night. One of the best shows I've seen ever. If they come to your town run don't walk to see them.

Saw the first night of the tour at the Fillmore here in SF, and was totally blown away. One of the most high-energy bands I've seen in years. I knew they were sort of like thrash-Romany music but didn't realize there was a little postpunk in their sound too. The singer and violinist are great ... actually the whole band is. Definitely better live.
