Bunch of dumbass Westerners getting drunk, naked and partying on a Japanese train during Halloween:


As mentioned earlier this week on Japan Probe, the Yamanote Halloween Train party was planned to be held last night in Tokyo. However, sometime yesterday morning, the Japanese megaforum 2ch.net discovered that post about the event and translated the information about it into Japanese, igniting a raging storm of anti-foreign hatred and sending over 10,000 visitors to this site.

Numerous threads over at 2channel and some Japanese blogs began to fill up with anonymous comments calling for outraged Japanese to contact the police and demand that they round up and arrest all the foreigners that joined in on the party [words like “rioters” and “terrorists” were used to refer to the foreigners]. Others boldly proclaimed that they would show up at Shinjuku station with knives and stab foreigners to death, and one even posted a comment on Japan Probe claiming that he would “blast” trains on the Yamanote Line.

I have been to parties in Japan, where i was the only westerner, and the japanese where getting drunk, high as hell on cocaine and totally buck naked.

That's ok, its their house~

it was a pretty fun party.

I have also been on trains in Japan going from Tokyo to Osaka and back where they would shoot porn in the sleeping compartments.

HELL YEA!! I wanna go to Japan....

Once I went to this INSANE Russian Hooker bar out in the suburbs. That was interesting...although most of the chicks where Bulgarian.

It was rad when the Korean bouncers beat the shit out of a bunch of drunk salariman dudes. bloood everywhere.

That place was out of control.

I like the Japan Probe top banner, it sums up going to Japan for alot of people.

On the other end of the spectrum, once I went to one ( or maybe the last) traditional Mountain Inn up in the boonies outside of Kyoto. I was the first non japanese to sign the guestbook since 1973. It was a family run jopint, and the old lady was famous for making her own hooch out of every single forst plant. The pine needle cider was especially awesome. We went in winter for the 'full experience' and the giant hot pool of water full of crushed herbs was especially soothing. For the meal her son went out and hunted a boar and the daughters picked all the winter plant foods. Then, as we ate, the old lady told a story about each dish. To be honest, the food was pretty gnarly, as I guess 'bitter and tough' is part of the 'winter mountain experience'. Then we went and hung out with a dude that is Japan's 'Kite Master', that guy was pretty cool. He lived 'completely 16th century' in a restored farmhouse way the hell out in the middle of no where.
