Wii probably has the worst way to add friends. You have to find your friend code and send that to your friend who adds you and then you do the same. Totally dumb. I was thinking of picking up GH3 for the Wii but decided to get it for the PS3 instead. I'm just worried that the battery will die out in the middle of a song on the Wii-mote. Things may change so I might get the Wii version. One thing is for sure, Rock Band is coming and that will be awesome. Now I need to make space for the drum kit

Create a message
Go to you address book
Page left and you should see it
Write it down and send that to the person requesting to be your fiend

This is pretty cool but you still need to know your code and register with the site

i must confess, i have become addicted to guitar hero.....my work bought an xbox 360 and a few games......now on break and lunch i geek out and go strum the fake guitar......been thinking about getting a platform for home.....

what is your opinion....ps2.....ps3....xbox 360....wii???

for the cheap way with NO online. PS2 for sure. If you want to go online too xbox 360 is my opinion.

Yeah PS2 is good enough for something like guitar hero. Doesn't seem like it would be all that great online anyway. I have to recommend wii if only for Super Mario Galaxy though, which is amazing.

as far as the "which console to get" question. you should figure it out by seeing what games are coming. Some publishers will make exclusive titles to a console so if you like that game, you go for that console. Example: Gran Turismo is only available on Sony systems. If you love Gran Turismo, you'd get a PS3. Sure you can say there's Forza for the 360, but Forza and Gran Turismo's physics engines are different so the cars behave differently. If you like playing little italians jumping on turtles....
360 has more titles but you have to pay a monthly to play online
Wii games are pretty fun but not very deep
PS3 is lagging in games but it's back catalog is huge

- if you go 360 and have an HDTV, spend the money and buy the Elite so you can hook it up via HDMI
-if you go PS3, try to get the 60GB because the PS2 emulator is 10x better than the newer 40GB and 80GB versions. You also get a Blu-Ray dvd player.
-if you go Wii, i hope you have good medical insurace cause your wrist will ache for a bit

but yeah....base it on the games that you will play.
