I know this is a toy board, but...
I just watched George Bush's interview with Wolf Blitzer on CNN. GB is such an idiot, an imbecile, a nut wad, etc. I am so embarrassed for our country that he is our "leader." He is one of the most complete idiots, the worst bad joke, that I could ever imagine. God (or whatever superior source there is) save us! Please!

Even if you knew all along, it's just sort of a shocking reminder when you see the man without the benefit of a teleprompter trying to complete a sentence that make sense, or pronounce really, really difficult words like "Olmert" or "Abbas."

Well every puppet has its master, or as the case may be, its Scalia, Cheney, Harris, Diebold, etc.

Quote: So the vision is the beginning -- today was the beginning of the outline of a vision, so that people have something to be for. And it's an important step. Today was an important step, and it's going to be hard work to be done...In other words, there has to be something more positive than that which is being -- that which is on the horizon today.
Generally, if a leader is able to promote peace, genuine peace, it will help their standing with the people. I'm not a great analysis of polls, but I do believe that leadership is rewarded, and particularly leadership that leads to the prospect for peace.
I can't even understand a word the man is trying to say. How does he expect peoples whose first language might not be English to understand him?

OK, to appease the board, here is a George Bush toy:
It is a stupid, evil, deceitful, arrogant toy. It will soon be no longer available.
(But not soon enough)

I'm one of those nutjobs that has been calling for impeachment since the Iraq war began...I don't see how there is any way that Bush calls the shots, but he should still be prosecuted for his role in sending thousands of Americans to their deaths in a misguided and misdirected war against a ghost...or against an idealism that can never be personified or pinned down...
I do think that a response to terrorist activity on our own soil was warranted, and would be pleased to see Osama's head on a pike outside the White House, however, if they ever did get him, they aren't saying, and if they haven't yet, they probably are not going to...everytime I see Bush, I ask myself, "what the fuck??"
I am not an economics professor, (hell, I can barely balance my checkbook), but you can't tell me that spending billions or trillions on a war that we can't win and can't afford to fight has not had an influence on the value of our currency...run out of money? just allocate more to your cause...
The bottom line is that not only is George W. Bush an embarrassment as president, he is responsible for driving up the cost of your imported toys!

He's not saying they didn't know what they signed up for. He's saying they are being sent over there wrongly. This administration lied about their reason for invading and did many wrong things to either support their case or ruin people who opposed them.

who is more foolish ....the fool or the ones that follow.
Blair and brown need to stand up and be counted too.
America is the bully of the world, for years now it has supplied arms to the same countries it attacks time and time again, and for years it has ruined lives and peace for its own power and gains.
History will not be kind to the US of the noughties.
Hopefully sense will prevail and you will get a new leader with at least some compassion and the ability to think for themselves, and not embarass themselves every time they open their mouths.
I'm afraid that middle America can't get enough of Bush and his goverment though

Yes, America is what ails the world blah blah blah....
For as many mistakes as this country has made, we certainly don't have the market cornered on "ruining lives and peace for it's own power and gains".

you're absolutely right donnie and sadly I don't think it will happen in the next years though anything *should* be better than the current admin. Last year we voted all these Democrats into congress on the premise of change and they have failed miserably with the majority not taking a stand.

I didn't say that............
We are worse as we blindly follow, too scared to stand up and say no.
But you can't deny America abuses it's powers for the good of the few, I don't want to get into some new world order rant !
Until two months ago you president denied global warming was having an effect on our planet

The man has made some people very very rich at the expense of the american poor and middle class. He has divided our country and worsened our standing in the world economicaly and socialy.
Everytime I hear some right winger tell me that America is the greatest country in the world (there by giving some excuse for us to be the worlds police state) I say, "then expect more, expect more from your leader, better communications, openess, progress, social awareness...expect more."
