 another new dude. yo!
after all the hassle of getting my account to work (thanks joe!) i can finally post. looking forward to talking about toys and getting jealous since i'm so poor. i'm saving up to go to japan in april and plan to (hopefully) spend alot on vinyl goodness. you'll also eventually see i have the worst luck ever.
any other australians on here?

SB generally (usugrow's rebel ink being my favourite sculpt, even though i don't own it). also still into alot of realxhead and medicom stuff even though i realise medicom isn't that popular on here. my collection is tiny (and half of it is in another house) seeing as i'm trying to save everything to get to japan (i'm 20 and earn peanuts) so hopefully i can pick up some cool stuff there. realistically i've only been 'collecting' for a year, before that i was a hardcore kid buying records all the time. never got into [expletive deleted]'s and all that shit.

were day of contempt from adelaide? haha DOC were from adelaide, yeah. jungle fever were originally from here but about two years ago gabe/jiggsy moved to sydney and sean moved to melbourne. dougy still lives here though. i loved the demo but its been ages since i've seen the play, i'm pretty much a dropout now. last show i went to was internal affairs in july.

they played shows with my friend's band last weekend i think. i haven't heard anything since the demo but that was alright
day of contempt on the other hand..

day of contempt on the other hand.. i can't really knock DOC as they were the first hardcore band i ever saw live (oct '03). after they moved to the US in '04 i kinda lost track of what they did though, i'm pretty sure they broke up a while ago. i know ben moved back here and plays in carpathian now.

fair enough - dan played in one of the first bands i saw, dsm so it was a bit of a step down imo. saw them live once and just couldn't get it
