 Celga on holiday?
I've been trying to get Celga to ship my stuff for well over a week now. I've sent numerous requests to ship (using the form) and numerous emails and they just do not reply. Not trying to be a dick and I understand the holidays just happened, but if you're going to run a professional bidding service you need to be a bit more on point than that. Holidays account for two actual days at the end of dec beginning of jan. It shouldn't mean you completely leave your customers hanging without even a response. I'd bet any amount of money they're still taking bids for people so why not ship to people you've already bid for? It's the lack of communication that gets me mad. Probably be looking for an alternative service. Anyone else encounter this?

most likely. Most businesses shut down from the 1st to the 3rd. Its one of (if not the) biggest holidays there.
give it a few days. In related news, they sent this adorable New Years Card to skylar that we hung on the fridge.

Ahh I see. Didn't realize it was a huge thing over there. Maybe someone in shipping took leave early because these requests go back to before xmas. Still they should make note of that on their website or at least have a automated e-mail stating those facts.

I am also awaiting a response from them, but I did receive an email about a month ago for the holidays and they mentioned they would be shut down for a period of time.
Their holiday schedule as Missy mentioned is very different from ours. just give it a few days and they'll get back to you.
They also sent me a really great little robocon robot for Christmas as well. Did anyone else pick something from their "free" pile email?

its a busy time of year. they are very nice people and if you needed it by a specific date, i would have asked them to ship much earlier than Christmas.
I'm guessing that anything in that box can take an extra day or 2 without turning to dust. overseas shipping takes time, and the internet has made it pretty easy for us all to get things that we never could before, i'm amazed at how impatient some people get about things arrving. (not a personal attack, others have this same NOW NOW NOW mentality. )
just give it a few days. they're only toys. be patient.
and if you just can't wait, read this thread:

I talk to Keigo and Hyla pretty frequently. Theyre real busy this way, but rest assured, theyre doing what they can. Theyve gone out of their way more times than naught to help me snag some pretty rare stuff. youd be hard-pressed to find that kind of customer service with other sites. just hang loose, they wont disappoint

Very true...about the waiting. I used celga for the first time in December but before I used them, I talked to someone that said..it'll take 3-4 weeks to arrive. So imagine I'll get it end of January/February.
But yeah..I have family in Japan and this time of year gets crazy.

This is the biggest holiday season in Japan. I've been off for the past week. Things don't usually get running until about the 4th.

OK OK I get it. It's my first time using them and I had excellent customer service/ communication till it came to ship that's all. Found it odd that they did not answer my e-mails and everyone has left very good explanations as to why. My bad... I can be impatient BUT it's always in regard to communication, I'm not a NOW NOW NOW guy.
Keep the lines open and I'm a teddy bear.
