Post Another World.
Not sure why, but have become curious about some old toys I had when I was a kid. I am pretty certain they were called "Another World" (or "Other World" maybe) at least over here in Oz.
Basically they were bendy toys - rubber with wire inside - and were fantasy based heroes and villains. There were a fair few characters and bigger monster sets. There were little orange or purple guys that came with each character too. All the weapons were GID.

Anybody got any info on these? I can't seem to locate any info online at all. I'm just interested to read about this stuff for some unkown reason!!

Just found this bit of background and pics of the toys:

http://www.virtualtoychest.com/otherworld/otherworld.html

Cn't believe I had nearly the whole set. Didn't have the castle as a kid. They are worth a bit these days - especially in a box, but loose too.

I noticed Billy Galaxy had some Other World gear for sale. Pricey, but MIB gets that.

I think Other World was a bit of a cash in on the HeMan success. Cheap bendy guys with GID gimick. Still they were cool figures at the time for me. I still have them all packed away somewhere too.

Blackstar I haven't seen or heard of before. Those Demons do look cool.

YEP. The spark were from a flint wheel. Kinda like what you would find on a lighter.

I sold all these fellas on ebay last year.

Along with my Otherworld figs.

Ahh..those Darkstar guys look odd for sure. The yellow bee guy especially. Was there any sort of cartoon attached to the toys? What size were they?
