WORST hardcore cover art of all time:
While we're on the subject of best HC band ever.. What do you think is the worst album (or single) art for an otherwise decent hardcore band. My vote goes to:

I like the mouthpiece cover because I feel it represents the era well. Not to mention the record was great.
on the flipside.. Im just going to vote for a band I think is straight awful and has the worst album cover/front and back.

I have to back BannedinDC here...
That Mouthpiece record looks like a New Age record circa the mid 90s...
as for that Fury Of Five...
not sure which is worse, the music or the art...
tough call
but I will ad this-

as a 90s hardcore kid. i love anything with a krishna cover.
In fact I think the beyond planet earth cover is hideous. What would Krishna have said.
not a hardcore band (or even really a punk band)but a good album with the worst cover

Oh man, I loved the bronx cover. I got that LP when Wherehouse records was still around, plus it kept people that didn't know about them away thinking it was goth rock. By far one of my fave albums. They had a horror theme going at the time, the vid for false alarm had old horror clips and such. Now they kind of dress like the killers.

Ha ha - I was just listening to that Bronx record yesterday (never saw 'm though). Pretty damn good in my opinion. That album sounds a lot like a band from Milw. called the Mistreaters. Bought the 2nd Bronx record when it came out and it was a rather severe step down in quality, unfortunately.

I am shocked that so many people like that cover! I will agree it's certainly indicative of that era but I don't really see that as a good thing.

great record with 2 really bad covers and one good logo cover:
original cover... seriously.. it doesnt get much worse than this.
reissue on trustkill... overheard inside the trustkill office: "hey can we make a worse cover than the original? not sure, but lets give it the good ol' college try"
sweet logo. didn't get paid a dime for this. i wish i got a penny for everything this has ever appeared on.

True... one of my favorite Grind bands though. There 9 song 7" is great!
I've seen a few other Grind/Noise covers that are that bad or worse...
Oh! There was this John Zorn CD that had kiddy porn in it. I guess they got away with it 'cuz it was "art" and the photographer has made a career on that kind of stuff... anyway... thats not hardcore, so it doesn't apply I guess.

The dick neck that designed the original here straight up stole the textures from Jake Bannon from the American Nighttmare 7" he designed for B9...
terrible indeed and based on stolen art...
reissue on trustkill... overheard inside the trustkill office: "hey can we make a worse cover than the original? not sure, but lets give it the good ol' college try"
snickering as a dear friend is the culprit responsible for this mess...
