 A brief Toy Fair report.
I dropped in at Toy Fair yesterday and hung out with Onell Design, who was smack in the middle of the Urban Bazaar. I have to say, it was a little strange, and not very "urban." There were only a couple of booths selling designer toys, and the absence of StrangeCo was pretty noticeable.
I don't know what it was like last year, but when I was there two years ago the alley was packed with people like Ningyoushi, DKE, etc. It's hard to say why. Bad economy? Maybe Toy Fair just hasn't proven to be a worthwhile venue for vendors like this?
