Post Khanate...!!!
Okay people... so I just realized that Khanate is actually James Motherfucking Plotkin from the super wicked bad ass musical act from back in the day "SCORN" which is in my opinion one of the best and most underrated death ambient style bands of all time if not the innovators of the scene...!!! I used to punish the fuck outta my speakers listening to Vae Solis and Colossus...!!! Together we'll all freeek out...!!!

Heeeavy Blood...

I can't believe that I'm just now realizing this...!!! Doh'

I'm a little old school with James so ask him to talk about OLD LADY DRIVERS!!! Now that band was INSANE. Love the 1st LP and the split 7" with Assuck.

I remember Assuck cause' I'm from Tampa and they played here all the time... Rob Proctor was the craziest drum killing machine I had ever heard back in those days... thinkin' I still have a toothpaste colored 7" by them fools buried somewhere in the other vinyl collection...

I swore Scorn was "post D&B experimental dark ambient drone" not death ambient...

Under a bed, a leg and a saw, red teeth gnaw
No more whine, no more whine, quiet time
No more whine
Metal teeth red, red teeth gnaw, leg and saw
Under a bed, a leg and a saw, red teeth gnaw
Silence, while I strip - bones (gnaw, so quiet)
Dark - and quiet, we go...into quiet time
No more whine
...your bones...

I love khanate!

Thanks, the Atom/Phantomsmasher stuff is still a favorite. Solaris wasn't really my project - I was sort of a hired gun for those recordings.

Just found this pic of Dave Lombardo and me, was touring with Fantomas for a few weeks in 2001. What a serious head-fuck that was

There's been a 3rd album on hold for awhile...those recordings take ages to make due to the micro-editing and such...
