 EMS shipping charges
Hi,
I want to ask the experience of others before I write a seller and ask about a possible mistake.
On shipping from Japan I got a quote for 1500yen EMS for one item. Seems normal. I added an item (same size) and it jumped to 4000yen. Seems like a huge jump. Is this the standard jump for EMS or did the seller get it wrong, possibly?
Thanx

It's all based on weight. A jump like that would require an extra 1500 kilograms. How much did your additional item weigh?

Totally depends on the item's. If they are small & light I would say it's definitely too high. If they are large or moderate in size & have some weight to them I would say it's reasonable.

does the box size (dimensions) factor in as well? I know that it does here in the US and I've been curious about that.

They are light items. 5-6 inches. Empty innards.
Its just funny because if I ordered them seperatly it would be 3000 yen and I'd save money. I wrote and asked. So tomarrow I'll get a reply and corrected or not you know I'll pay.

Box sixe only matters in the maximum size you are able to send, it doesnt effect the cost of shipping.
