Hey.. anyone know if there's a way to uniform the colors that show up on my screen with photoshop, my photoviewer, and my printer? when I open/print the same photo, the colors are off. thanks!

Not really... you might get it close by adjusting levels (Ctrl + L), using Hue/Saturation (Ctrl + U), or you can use Variations (Image > adjustments > variations).

There's a fundamental different in color that's projected (off a monitor or other backlit source) and color that is reflected (printed material)... you'll never get them to "match" side by side, but you can probably get them to be within a certain range of acceptability...

Also make sure if you are printing them that they are in CMYK and not RGB. (Image>Mode>CMYK) I always found most things tend to print darker than they are on screen.

my main problem is that it's very hard for me to make adjustments... because when I make adjustments, it looks nothing like how i want it to when i print it out. not sure if i've tried printing in CMYK yet... but i'll guess i'll give it a go. thanks

Make sure the color is right cmyk is right for prints, because ink is of course cyan magenta yellow black, But on top of that is your monitor is probably not calobrated. There are hardware things you can buy, that are like eyes, and you put them on your screen and run the software and it color corrects your screen.

yeah, make sure it has the right CMYK settings. CMYK is generally for printing, RGB is generally for on-screen stuff.
