Just wanted to warn you of this idiot.

I bidded on an Exohead Garimpo # 170194968732 and then got an offer from the supposed seller asking for the highest price I would pay. I told him and then he said that he had some and will sell directly to me and proceed to ask for some of my contact info.

With the contact info he put together a very cheap looking html form with my information and what looks to be 'ebay' information asking that I western union him the money (to romania). (pm if you want to see it, it is pretty funny actually). Told that guy I only use paypal and he insisted I pay in western union. So no deal.

But a couple of days later, i get a google chat message from him saying that he reported me to the police because I scammed him and he already sent out my package. Several times now, I have gotten a google chat from him saying I scammed him and have called the police

There's been a couple threads on this board about ebay fishing. After you lose an auction..someone claiming to be the seller says that the first buyer bailed or it didn't work out and if you are interested "email them." These are never legit so I wouldn't worry about it.

There was one auction I bid on and got a fishing email saying the exact same stuff and it was complete b.s. I was curious though and directly emailed and private messaged the seller and he told me the item sold.

My advice is to not worry about it and just ignore the emails from now on.
