thanks Parka, yeah, I flipped through some old paintings and just realized how influenced I am by Japanese toys. It's in the blood I guess.

that painting is actually both devil. Reverse and regular (on top) to create
layers. you can probably see that in one of the close ups. The reverse gives you that full on plastic feel since it's on plexi.

That's really very nice.
It reminds me of the visual depth you experience when playing old pinball machines. I'm waiting for the eyes to light up and to hear an evil laugh!

sometimes, when I look at this thing for too long, I could swear the eyes are lit up and I do hear an evil laugh

I dread seeing something like this being shipped to the uk. But i'd love to see your take on original Lucha masks such as Dr Wagner, Blue Panther, La Parka (:)) etc.

Yeah, I'd love to see some mini ones based on lucha legends, Santo, Blue Panther et al. Any idea on prices. Fantastic stuff.

i'll do it!, damn it. why didn't I think of that myself? They'll probably be around 7" x 9".
2 layers. the base will be transluscent white and the overlay will be clear. 1-shot paints.
