 Favorite Toy of All-Time.
I'm sure this has been covered, but I searched and didn't see it. What is everyone's absolute favorite toy of all time? Not strictly vinyl or kaiju, but of everything? Mine is simple: Doesn't get better then G1 Optimus Prime. Not even Masterpiece Prime. Not even the 1985 Snake Eyes with Timber. =)

That'd have to be my coffee can full of LEGOs.

 Re: Favorite Toy of All-Time.
oh, evil, really good call. mine's pretty much a toss up between shogun warriors mazinger and gi joe zartan with the swamp ski. mazinger has missiles for fingers that shot with force that would never be allowed today, and zartan turned blue in the freaking sun, which is basically magic. one day i put zartan on the exploding speederbike toy, and that was about the happiest i have ever, ever been...sober...

Fisher Price Adventure People Northwoods Trailblazer picture from toyzdollz.com One of my favorite parts about this set is that everything fits on the Jeep. Same with the Micronauts Astro Station. pic found on bugeyedmonster.com

 Re: Favorite Toy of All-Time.
Wow. The Shogun Warrior. How could I have forgot that..and Micronauts! These are all definitely in contention for all time fave. I had the micronauts set pictured and another one with a vehicle that moved around on an oval race track type thing in front of it...I lived and breathed those things for probably 2 years...

 Re: Favorite Toy of All-Time.
I had edition 2,3,4 of first series of tmnt comics before they were in standard comic book format, they were hell rare even back then ..in 84-5 i think. then after that when they went into standard size every issue, mint. Then a junky I knew thought he needed them more than I did and took my whole collection to the hock shop, plus my camera and my and my mums record collection.
The first editions had a one colour cover and black and white insides. Then they went to the to the standard format. F.Y.I ....I never collected the silly Archie style tmnt comic books.

I've still got almost the entire run of the mirage comics up till issue 30 or so. I only have a 2n print of #1 though. Those were fun comics. Phil

 Re: Favorite Toy of All-Time.
I loved the Archie comics series of TMNT because the stories were so much fun and the artwork was decent. But I was probably in their target demographic at the time

dave zav wrote: Fisher Price Adventure People Northwoods Trailblazer Oh man! I had that!!! I loved that. Also really liked my metal batmobile with missle that shot out of the 3 exhaust pipes on the back. I shot myself in the eye with it on xmas morning and had the missles taken away from me... I really liked my mego lone ranger w/horse set as well. But the only picture I can find of it is crappy and I'm not even sure if that's it...

 Re: Favorite Toy of All-Time.
I loved my death star (omg, an elevator!) but really the old fisher price little people w/ the sesame street set along with a hefty dose of legos were my favorites. (In the below picture, I am throwing a birthday party for one or all of the little people.) My dad was totally into tea time!

I wanted that voltron so badly when I was a kid. I'm still thinking about my number 1 but voltron was close.

 Re: Favorite Toy of All-Time.
Nothing had more impact on me as a child when I first saw this series shown on Philippine TV----Voltes V! This is the re-issue and not made in Japan anymore, but the nostalgia is still there. Still looking for the original one in good condition though. I think Bert can relate .

 Re: Favorite Toy of All-Time.
Really tough. And what do you base your selection on? If it's what I played the most with, it's probably be Lego or my Tonka trucks. If it's what I thought was the "coolest" at the time, it'd probably be something I didn't own. Do bikes/trikes/big-wheels count? Right now I'm gonna go with this, even though there's no way I could pin down one toy as my favorite:
