 Kaws Pushead Hype
what do you think about the high prices for them? is it ok to spend 900$ for all the black, silver and GID? is it possible that they are cheaper again in the near future?
sadly I missed to buy them directly when they came out and I dunno, I think the prices are now a little bit insane or something.
got a mail from somebody from japan last night who wanted to sell me the 3 for 1.500$! -WITHOUT the bronze one! well, no, thanks, Im not a complete jerk.
otherwise, I will try to buy the 3 for something UNDER 1.000$. means no vacation for me this summer
-what do you guys think is a realistic price for the 3 (black, silver, GID) / what did you paid for them?

I too missed out on the KAWSONE sale and fell into the hype a little bit...I paid around 300 for my black one. Actually right now the prices are somewhat lower...The GID goes for the least. Check completed auctions on ebay to get a good idea...The bronze is out of control though...I think the last one on the bay went for over a 1000.

You should definitly use your money for vacation instead imho! Or if you really want to buy kaws vinyl, hunt the 5YLs instead!

Yeah, agree with Nico. Toys are great and all, but a holiday (vacation) is much better.
Can't believe I just wrote that

I have all the 5YL and the pusheads including the bronze.
They both have there own vibe. Both completly seperate, both executed perfectly.
Its really what YOU like better.
I couldnt live without either set.
I doubt the pusheads will stay low for long. So find a price that you can live with...suck it up... and enjoy your purchase !!

thanks everybody.
my girlfriend will f**king kill me, but I will try to get the set now. except bronze, 1.000$ for one figure is sadly defintly not my dimension of financial possibilities.
sounds like something between 800 and 900$ is a "good price" for the set of 3.
@lash:
yeah, I saw the pics of your 2 displays with the kaws and kaws pushead´s. quite impressive. looks realy great.

$800 for the reg 3 KAWS X PHead (not bronze) is a ridiculous price. You can get them for much cheaper if you're patient and buy them separately (or together, even).
A silver recently closed for $250 on Ebay.

Screw vacations. I have three weeks this year.
I'm going to take it and stay in the city.
Toys are better, holiday vacations cost dollars that could fund new toys...

I agree.
I missed the release, but found ways to trade and buy a set for a reasonable price.
