There is a guy on ebay flipping a space trooper set and the price s are getting ridiculous. I am sorry if anyone is participating in this a doesnt want the extra attention. But it looks like you all ready have competition on 'em.
And really no one should be helpin this dude flip anyway.

I don't think toygraph is the new RxH. People only hype the space troopers. I don't see anybody going nuts for the other stuff.

I don't know much about the Toygraph figures, but I have noticed the "hot/cold cycle" for a lot of lines/companies has become faster and faster. It's hard to trick out just how much the cycles are hype/fad/marketing driven. It certainly isn't an information gap issue, like we had a few years ago...

Something will come along soon and everyone will have forgotten about the space troopers and Toygraph. I also have a pretty good idea that there are going to be a lot more troopers floating around, and the people who are paying the prices you're seeing on a certain auction site may experience some buyers remorse once these are more readily available.

I agree. Plus there's been a whopping 3 on eBay and 3 on YJA so people are going to be stupid and pay stupid prices. Someone can try and hype the Gamera an Godzilla stuff, but in the end, it won't work because they're known quantities. The Space Troopers are "new" and "refreshing" and unknown (not to mention pretty limited), thus easier to create hype.

Toygraph is already trying to make more.
They are not happy with the auctions.

I do know, in fact, there will be many more. I'm extremely happy to hear though that a company is displeased with the prices their toys are bringing. Make more, drive the price down. Kudos to them.

Yeah the recent three Troopers were on YJA and I thought for a second no one would notice but they went for like 130-140 a piece! I hope Toygraph makes another GID version to be honest. That face under the helmet screams GID.

I agree with you though, it's all at a size now where something/s will always be hyped and some n00bs or assholes will go nuts on the new "thing" thinking they'll "never see it again bwargh!"

Maybe this will end the hype. Those who want space troopers should be able to have them soon enough.

They (Toygraph), will need to be careful or they will saturate their market. An increase in the run size plus a bigger line will kill them. No company likes to see their stuff go up on ebay or yja but it can't be helped.
Space Troopers are cool but them seem to be a bit too expensive for me.
