I know release numbers aren't always released, but if I'm not mistaken lulubell had 20 pieces of this figure themself.

So how can a certain website be making the following claim?

This amazing Dororu from Shikarua Kobo was released at the Superfest 47 in 2008. It is 25cm or 10" tall. It was limited to 20 pieces.

There's more than 20.
Think there was 20 at SF.
Then more were released.

I think he's a little confused. If the figure was in fact limited to only 20 I might be able to understand his price, but since it was just released and 3x the amount and it isn't a handpaint yeah he's out there!!

I'm willing to wager there are 50 red dororu's and 50 HP's. 20 red's at SF, 20 red's @ Lulubell, and perhaps another 10 maybe went to mail order with Shikaruna. If not the extra 10 perhaps went to do the Kobe Hobikon dororu. 100 sounds like a nice number for a run doesn't it?

Didn't S7 also have a "pre-order" of these a couple weeks ago? Mine's still sitting in my Celga basket from YJA. I should have gotten a handpaint -- I paid almost the same price at the time, roughly $200.

Also, could someone post or PM me the website where this is being offered now according to LD? I'd like to see this myself.

20 was the number at SF.
But like everyone has mentioned, other places were offering pre-orders on them.
And I think a few were sold to select members.

There were 20 released at the show. Then the pre-orders popped up on the U.S. websites.

Almost seems like they did an additional run for overseas folk due to the unforeseen demand.

I think he talking about 2 different situations. Luke had a preorder priced at 140 or so and they "other" website is selling them for 295.
