 Removing unwanted paint from vinyl
I've got a vinyl figure with a white base color. It's painted in some areas, including the arms. One of the arms rubbed up against an unpainted white area in shipping and left a paint streak.
What's the best method to get rid of the paint without harming the vinyl?
Thanks.

Get yourself a Mr. Clean magic eraser, they've worked for me.

Re: Removing unwanted paint from vinyl
be careful,,,,the magic eraser can sometimes dull the vinyl especially if it is on the glossy side...
definitely keep the magic eraser away from any paint sprays...
the safest & most effective way is good old warm water & mild soap (baby shampoo or mild dishwashing detergent are great) with a soft cloth...works almost everytime...
you just have to be patient,,sometimes the smudge will not budge for atleast ten minutes or so...but if you keep warm/hot water running over it & wipe gently...you should be good-to-go!!

I would suggest using spit and some elbow grease.
