On one of my birthdays (early 20s I think) I spent the whole freaking day in hospital with my girlfriends kid sat in the waiting room being incredibly jealous and selfishly worrying about my ice cream cake with the yummy cookie crunchy bits in in. All she had was a minor ear infection for fucks sake! What about my cake!!!  ...sat there on it's own... melting... while I watch crap hospital telly reading Heat and risking old person disease....
