pushing a double-amputee infront of a moving train would probably not fly to well if if this was released these days....

There's a website that has a whole bunch of panels from old timey comics that are just wrong in a number of ways....like Batman slapping a girl. If I ever remember what the url is, I'll post it up...unless someone knows what I'm talking about.

oh...I found it: http://www.superdickery.com

You have to admit that pushing an amputee in front of a speeding train is admirably villainous---maybe not as grand of a scale as decimating city blocks, etc., but every evil-doer has to start somewhere...

comics have never really been nice to women. i mean, take this green lantern panel for example. Gail Simone self-diagnosed herself with "Women In Refrigerator Syndrome" after reading this issue....
here is a website by Simone all about the death and brutality against women in comics:

haha.
yeah, have you noticed that all of his men and women happen to have old-people mouths? and a couple years ago he did a Hawk & Dove arc in Teen Titans, and his Robin is awful! But i've noticed that many artists have a hard time with Robin and i can't imagine why. he's nothing special or complicated....
i do like some of his work, onslaught reborn was pretty visually appealing, and some of his covers on Cable/Deadpool were decent (but then again it is hard at the moment to picture Cable not drawn by liefeld) but when liefeld fucks something up, he REALLLY fucks it up...

There is a website of really bad Liefeld art. I should try and find it. The character bodies he draws are so disproportionate. I mean, I know that's what some comics are about, big muscles and the like, but these were really bad.

i think this is it http://progressiveboink.com/archive/robliefeld.html

i cant tell because this one is blocked at work

yeah a good friend of mine has a love/hate relationship with liefeld.

he finally met him at nycc and he said he was a pretty nice guy.

his art is fairly atrocious at times though. :D

That's funny. I never really looked at comic book art that closely before. I have some of those X-Force comics and never paid attention to the mistakes. Got a great laugh from some of the observations though. Especially the feet. And Leifeld's affinity for enormous body parts.

I haven't gone through the whole Liefeld site but is there a section where they talk about hands? I remember reading something about him drawing hands that looked like they were ameoba instead of fingers. I'll admit that I'm not that good with hands or feet...but at least I'm not getting paid to draw them ;)

There's a bunch of stuff with hands. Hands with 5 fingers (no thumb), hands with extra long index fingers, hands as big as heads... even a hand with a mini penis growing out of it. :|
