Sorry about that, Joe. I had seen them earlier while searching for other things due to the title name splattering that happens. It was already kinda crazy, but I really hate the blocking out of bidder ids. Makes it harder to sniff out the shills. Used to be much easier to keep tabs on shenanigans. I also hate it when sellers put a smart ass remark instead of a location.

Part of the reason people list stuff a bajillion times at the same price on YJA is because its free to list, you just pay 5% if the item sells.

Yeah I hate those never-ending YJA auctions...I have also contemplated buying stuff just not to see them anymore. I thought I read on YJA though that if an auction ends with no bids, the seller can just have it relist itself for free...kind of a crazy (and annoying) policy IMO. edit: just saw this was mentioned...anyway I'm sure if the ebay merger thing completely happens, they will be quick to do away with this policy.

What was the final price on the Mother? last I saw was $555.

617 for the mother and 660 for drunk boy. Honestly I think even the rarest of newer kaiju (I know nothing of vintage runs so I wont go there) should not be above the 200-250 range. I know this will never happen due to supply and demand though. Sad....there will always be a flipper and someone willing to pay for it.

I think the thing about flipping is it only works on the newer guys/ guys less serious about the hobby. I mean I dont think I know any board members that regularly pay the flipper, or if they do they would never admit it. Dont get me wrong, I have paid over the odd somtimes, but thats how you learn your lesson.

I want a Mazza, and I know the production run isnt ridiculously small, and see pleanty of them for sale and I know their a flippers favorite, so I wait for the hype to go.

Lots of people who go to the flippers are the guys who have to have the new hot toy and get caught up in the hype ( like I said though, it happens to us all) but if you just wait it out you see what the price settles at and also you can tell if you still really want it.
