Post I met Takeru Kobayashi today
He was on base as a guest judge for a Hot Dog eating contest for single Sailors.

The competition was for five minutes and the most Hot Dogs eaten was nine.

Kobayashi's record is 63 in 12 minutes. That is an average of about five a minutes.

Today he did a one minute demonstration and ate seven Hot Dogs in one minute.

Awesome. Yeah..he was the king. I used to have his baseball card in my office. (got it off ebay) I remember seeing an interview and the guy really trains and goes to the gym to get his stomach in shape.

That's awesome! I know Patrick Bertoletti, another eating competitor, who lives in Chicago. He's the guy with the mohawk that is in every eating competition.

Wow that's so cool Mark! Go go Kobayashi metabolism! I'm amazed after all these years he doesn't seem to have put on any weight.
