So I'm sure I've mentioned before how my jackass neighbor lets his alarm run for hours at 4am or 3pm. Anyhow he woke me up this morning belting out showtunes @ 4am like he was on american idol. Kid has no concept of actual time or neighbors.

So I patiently waited till it was time for him to sleep this afternoon. I put my speakers directly on the wall that is his bedroom. I am now blasting Joy Division as loud as I possibly can and hoping he comes over to say something.

If he likes showtunes, I'd probably switch from Joy Division to Slayer or something a little harder and louder

hmmm maybe ill download some death metal or something, I just don't want to annoy myself.

did I mention he also parks halfway into my g/f's parking spot so she can barely park at times? I kind of want to piss into a squirt bottle and dump it under his seat next time heleaves his car unlocked which he always does!

When I had a similar problem in an apartment in Boston, I got some sound effects CD's - "The Sounds of War" and "The Big Sounds of the Drags" and blasted those at the guy downstairs. The war sounds effects CD had, like, 70 tracks on it - everything from planes dive-bombing to machine gun fire to the sounds of an atomic explosion - it was awesome!

Occasionally, I'll blast my drag racing sound effects CD in my car while I drive - it's fun to pull up to people at a light and blast some vintage fueler doing a burn-out and then hear it go through the gears. My g/f, however, gets really embarrassed when I do that.

I went w/ Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music". It was two lps length of unlistenable crap. The downside being you pretty much had to leave the apartment yourself.

A spray bottle of urine works well on all kinds of surfaces besides just a car - like doorknobs, mail slots, windows etc.

LOL, I'd probably get hauled off to jail. I never see the guy because he is a nurse and keeps weird hours. When I do my g/f is always with me, grabs my arm and says “dont say anything!” Also he's a tiny guy, seriously child size.

Its just really frustrating, because neither management or the police will do anything about. I tell ya taking the high road really sucks.

I kind of wish he would. He definitely has issues. I once saw him leaving his apt screaming and shouting to himself and then he punched himself. Not kidding. I think it was the week his alcoholic dad moved in for a month. Kim thinks he's mentally challenged, but how could he be a nurse then? I also saw him twirling one of those marching band batons in the parking lot once. On second thought he's probably a serial killer and I should stay away. Either that or he got the bad touch as a kid.

then again as I'm typing this his industrial sounding alarm has been beeping for a half an hour straight. who does this? if I wasn't scared I'd kill the lady next to him on oxygen, I'd go to the basement and turn off the power to his apt!

Maybe he doesn't know you can hear it. He sounds pretty nutty, maybe he cant comprehend that sound goes through thin walls.
