looks like the kaiser is on holiday so I'll chime in. The way I see it, you're only fucked if you're a man. I should know because I'm a lesbian trapped in a man's body. I feel feminism's plight. I say, be there for your friend and stay supportive as possible because she needs it right now. She may one day awaken to her subconcious dysfunction or she may not. Alert presence in the "now" is probably a good way of awakening her from this abusive relationship but then again, this takes some practice. In my experience, always offering a shoulder to cry on has always been a great way to slip into a shoddy relationship
