Not a whole lot of new information there, and I don't think Maron did such a great job on the 'interview' side of things (and I admittedly don't listen to a lot of WTF so this could just be the norm but isn't my thing), but anyhow, cool to see something actually coming out from Simon, he doesn't do too many speaking-type digs like that. The new show he mentioned could be worth checking out; I am definitely past due for some real quality television drama at this point.
It struck me as more of a conversation than an interview, often the case with Maron, and as such I had no problem with it. Not having read much about Simon's youth, in particular, I found the chat quite interesting. I'm curious what you would have preferred from the showcase.

Quality television drama? Look no further than Better Call Saul and The Americans. At least as far as what's airing in the US at the time of this post.

Yeah, but that is just it, it didn't feel like a conversation [to me] and felt like it was a bit too forced and trying to be 'interview-y'. e.g. trying to hard to hit on all the standard talking points/mention of shows, etc. At the same time I felt like I didn't gain a whole lot of insight, which I was hoping to. It was fine, of course. Nevermind me...

Good work Chris. Now move onto Spiral Seasons 1-3 (French) and The Killing Seasons 1-2 (Dannish) for your next crime fix. They are both essential viewing.

Thanks for the suggestions
