SB Fantasy Football League (Buy In)
OK, due to the success of the free league, I'm going to start a second league for a buy in. I'm thinking $20 for 12 people with a $250 S7 gift certificate winner take all prize. I just emailed Glenn @ Super 7 to see what he thinks about keeping track of a direct to S7 Paypal, or he wants to stay out of it (in which case I'll get it set up). If S7 doesn't want to get involved, and it comes down to me everyone who pays in will be eligible for the prize. If 10 people pay in, the GC will be for $200 (and the people that don't pay obviously won't be eligible), but hopefully if you sign up for this pay-in league, you'll actually, you know, pay in. Same as the free league, once we have 12 I'll create the Yahoo league. In so far: 1. Punkin Donuts 2. DeJesus 3. perfection 4. hillsy11

the 2nd place team should also get a piece of the action.
maybe split it 175 1st place and $75 2nd place ?
i'm in either way.

S7 cannot be part of this. Do not send us money. I'm not sure I can even allow this kinda thing to be organized on SB.

Fair enough, Glenn. Thanks for the official word.
I think we should just go freebie this year, and I'll try to organize something with some more bite to it next year, 100% off of the SB board. If anyone wants to leave the free one, you should just be able to drop your team on the league page, and I'll open the free thread list again.

No problem. I'm just not sure what the legal issues are with fantasy football so I gotta say no.
