Post DVD Ripping Software?
Anyone have a recommendation for a good DVD ripping program? A free one. For OS X.
My wife wants to rip a TV series we're borrowing and burn a copy to keep.

that thread is for PC it seems...

i think you can just use disk utility to do it...
or if you have Toast that is the best one in my opinion.

Leopard has a Burn software but not sure if it burns from DVD to DVD.

Basically:

use MactheRipper to extract VIDEO_TS files to a folder from the encrypted disc
use DVD2OneX2 to shrink the 7+ GB files to under 4.5 GB
use Toast (or Disk Utility) to burn to a blank DVD

just in case, if you have a drive that can burn dual layer dvd then it'll be faster to do it directly.
