Post What does Green Japanese sticker say or mean?
Hey folks,

Can anyone help me understand or translate what this sticker is? It was on the back of a few vintage Japanese toys I just scored. I assume with the green tag and logos it has something to do with recycling maybe? But then again it has some stamp on it. Kind of baffled.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Best,
Jack

I know the second line says arigato gozamasu which means thank you very much of course, but I can't read the rest of it sorry.

housou (packing) no kansoka (simplicity) ni (particle) go (honorific particle) kyouryoku (cooperation)
arigatou gozaimasu (thank you very much)

I would say, "thank you for your cooperation in simple packaging?" not too sure.

the bottom says "Izutsuya"

Ahh, so it is something that has to do with recycling; but do wonder why they were placed on two Microman boxes? Technically speaking, these toys were always sold in "simply packaging", so no need for a blister pack or anything else. Wonder if whoever sold them on Yahoo! Japan Auctions scored them from a thrift or resale shop that placed those stickers.

Whatever. At least I don't have to bring these to a Shinto Temple to burn them ;)

Izutsuya is a department store in Japan. Maybe part of an old program at the store?

Thanks for making things clearer! Welp, they don't seem important—can imagine they would ever be—so thanks to some 90% rubbing alcohol and a short soak, they are now cleanly gone!

And the crazy thing is that I scored a Spy Magician box, and that sticker was partially covering the figure number/ID. There are 8 different Spy Magicians total and I have one (ONE!) vintage figure from my childhood. And after peeling off the sticker... *gasp* the number/ID matches my figure perfectly! Like a scratch & win surprise... Only better odds and I won!

Thanks for clearing this up guys.
