Addiction is a problem on so many levels. Drugs, money, work, power, sex, love, danger. Whatever it is you can loose yourself and be destroyed by it. Even food...

we had two people come into my barbershop yesterday one was pregnant ,both of them looked like they had been up for days the chick had those huge bleeding scabs on her face ,and the guy she was with has been coming in for years it was first time i could tell he was on something . its sad to see people like that

My office window as a vew on a very bad joint.
It is a open-air circus of sadness.

Meth is cooked with highly toxic chemicals according to authorities; might as well ingest liquid drain cleaner.

It used to be available legally in the USA as Methedrine by prescription for legitimate medical conditions but was outlawed very long ago.

Highly doubtful it was even remotely as dirty or damaging.

Politicians are just as responsible if not more for this devastation.

It's probably naive to think that most people who make money off this misery aren't deeply addicted themselves. Hanging people is no solution, the only solution is more money into programs that help enable people to take control of their lives.
