 Conclusion of the Feces Peter Steele dead at 48. Sad. He was an awesome musician/great voice. Type O Negative was one of my favorite bands. Re: Conclusion of the Feces Really bummed me out as well, geez it's been what 14 years now and i'm still listening to Type O. Almost didn't believe it considering the last prank. . . Still hoping this is a prank.
It's really sad we will never hear him make anymore music. Everything they've put out is top quality. I find it very hard to find music nowadays that I don't mind sitting down and listening to it beginning to end. Type O is definitely one of those bands i can just sit and enjoy listening to over and over.
And of all of the other rockers who are still here! Why couldn't it have been someone else, like Aaron Lewis or Jonathan Davis. Hell, Danzig has been over for a looong time.

Steele appeared as a nude centerfold of Playgirl in 1995.[3] After finding out via bandmate Kenny Hickey's contacts that only 23% of the magazine subscribers were female, Steele somewhat regretted the decision and later made light of it on Life Is Killing Me with the song "I Like Goils". In a 2007 interview, Steele reflected on the posing as merely a naïve publicity stunt.[4]
