Lil' Coffin. Unlike a lot of these kits, this one was based on a real custom car.

Awesome.
As a kid there was a hobby shop a few blocks from me. I can't remember how many FInk kits I fucked up.
I have a Frankensteins Flivver I've been sitting on and need to build.

I always loved the box art, but I usually bought WWII airplane models instead...

Kids in my neighborhood went in phases, for a while it was all Aurora monster kits ( I had Ghidorah , the Creature and the Forgotten Prisoner) then it would be cars...like Zingers.

But we were sorta poor so I only got the cheap airplanes...

Post Re: Old School Model Cars Anyone..?
*warning, random thread derailment*

I recently dug up a couple of the 90's era Screamin' vinyl Hellraiser models from my parent's house, one Butterball & one Chatterer. They are somewhere around 15-18" tall I think, if any of you kitbuilder/basher/customizer types have an interest, shoot me a pm.

Back on topic: I haven't built a kit in forever. There's a great train/hobby store nearby that carries good quality (read: expensive) models.
Then you guys have to start this thread...... aack........... must... resist! I'm too poor to re-ignite old hobbies. :x
